Nature

This week I chose to shoot my favorite flower, a lily. I had a lot of extra time to edit so some of my pictures have crazy effects. It was fun to shoot this week because there was water droplets on the flowers, and I think that is a very pretty addition to the flowers.

Animal Round Two

This week I chose to shoot my adorable new turtle, Squirt. I put him on a bed because he was too hard to shoot in his cage. He was a little bit scared out of his cage. He ended up being a pretty good model though. He was fun to shoot.

Still Life

Unedited Picture Edited Picture

In this picture I really liked how the cologne bottle fit the rainy day. I used the natural lighting from a window. I thought it was an interesting picture and it makes you wonder what it is. I do not find other factors distracting but rather they tell a story. I hope you enjoy this picture as much as I do.

School Context 2

In this assignment we had to take a picture of the schools and make it look unrealistic. I chose to use characters from Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

Motion Blur Round Two

In this photo we took pictures of our teacher on his bike. we used a slow shutter speed and used the panning technique to get motion blur behind him. It was very funny to see your teacher riding his bike.

Event round two

In this weeks assignment I chose to shoot my boyfriend and his little cousin for a fishing trip. This was on mothers day. He was so into fishing. He kept talking about how he loves fishing. He was very fun to shoot because of his excitement. I used my simple point and shoot for this assignment.

Pano Round Two

Today we used different things in GIMP, to edit three pictures together to make a panoramic picture. This was my second time doing this and it was still hard. It was hard to match up all of the little things in the pictures to make it look together.

Macro Round 2

For this assignment I shot a nautilus shell. This one was fossilized, 500 million years ago. It was discovered in Egypt. I thought it would make an interesting picture for macro. It was very interesting to edit also.
